Welcome Baby Harper

It's almost time for Baby Harper to join this world and we wanted to make sure she was welcomed in style!  Shabby Chic, Tea Party-esque Style, if you know what I mean?  This shower has been SO FUN to be a part of.  The mama to be and I have been giddy together over the vintage look, lace, doilies, pearls, baroque frames, etc., etc.  Everything was just turning out to be way too cute, and I have the pictures to prove it.  Let's start with my favorite part...

The Dessert Table (of course)

I think this turned out to be my favorite Dessert Table Creation to date.
Having 2 girls definitely brings the girlie out of me and this table had girlie written all over it.

Yes, you may have seen this cake on instagram a few weeks ago.
And Yes it has been sitting in my freezer for those few weeks.
But I did something right because look how great it still looks.

Oreo Cheesecake, Lemon Cupcakes,
Milk Chocolate covered Oreos and M&M's
(oh and a little H sugar cookie to represent Harper)

With a little help (ok A LOT of Help) from my dear friend Kristin Riley,
she was able to bust out all the Sugar Cookies for me in a mere 3+ hours.
Think I'm joking?  I took a Sugar Cookie decorating Class because I told myself there
has to be a FASTER way to make these things... Nope.  It just takes that long.
But look how Cute they are! :)  She Rocks!

The Decor
Tina Holland was in charge of Decor for the Party and there was no stopping her.  She is a GREAT friend to have! :)  Ashleigh also couldn't help herself and had to get involved with the decor.  (Can you blame her?)  It's just too fun.  Between Ashleigh and Tina they crafted up some pretty adorable decorations.

The ADORABLE diaper baby carriage with incredible homemade blanket
inside was made by none other than the AMAZING Tina Holland.
The favors were tea cups filled with pretty nail polish and a tea bag then wrapped in tulle.
The detailed and dainty banner that stretches across her glass doors read Harper Kole.

Girlie Onesies hanging all over the house added the cutest baby touch

These insanely cute Tea Pot/Tea Cup stacked displays were created by Kristin Riley.
Ummmm, Adorable to say the least.

You know I can't wait to find out if my friends are having girls so I can make them a tutu.  :)

The note in the frame says
Please write a wish for Baby Harper
On the front, on the back or on any of the pages
It's something she will treasure all of her ages
And what better book to have all of the guests sign other than Fancy Nancy Tea Parties?!

Headband Station.  How much fun is that?
Thanks again to Kristin Riley for getting the supplies to make this happen.
We were trying the headbands on baby Kenzie for fun.
Picture?  hmm.. I'll see if I can get one from someone...

Food Glorious Food (and Beverage)
Assorted Scones, Fresh Seasonal Fruit & Berries, Tea Sandwiches,
Select Cheese, Charcuterie and Crackers & Greek Pasta Salad
all done by Christa Briggs aka Mrs. Chef.  Everything was SO Delicious.

And how about that pom pom display above the food too.  There were no amateurs throwing this shower.

What's a Coffee, Tea and Baby Party without a Tea and Coffee Station?
Beverage Station

This post is dedicated to my beautiful friend that is about to give birth to a beautiful baby girl!
I can't wait to meet baby Harper!
And thanks for giving me an excuse to wear my pearls that I've had for years and never worn. ;)
 I love you!

Oh and... Just one more shot of the desserts.

Adrianna's 3rd Birthday Party

This year we decided we are going to take the plunge and buy Annual Passes to Disneyland.  That will be Adrianna's big gift this year, but we wanted to do something with her friends as well.  We booked a table at a local trampoline place (Not the place I broke my foot) and invited all of her best buddies to come and jump there little hearts out.  Unfortunately as luck would have it my camera was not working at the trampoline place so there are very few pictures from there.  But I was able to capture all of the pre-party photos of the goodies and the Birthday Girl!

The Outfit

We wanted to keep the theme in the Disney mood so we had the festivities revolve around Minnie Mouse.

The Treats

The place we had a party at didn't allow outside food.  Of course that wasn't going to stop me from making yummy treats.  I decided I would just fill the favor bags with treats.

Rice Krispie Treats with Sprinkles

Cut and Layer
Wrap

Ready to Go

3 Year Old "Minnie Inspired" Cookies

The "Minnie" Cupcakes

My first time working with fondant.  I was happy to find it is not as intimidating as I made myself believe all of these years.  The finishing touch of polka dots was done with good old buttercream.

Add a couple mini oreo's and you have Minnie cupcakes

The Favor Bag

Thank you for coming to Adrianna's 3rd Birthday Party!

She gave everyone a book with a little note in each reading "Thank You for coming to my 3rd Birthday Party and for being my special friend!  Love, Addie"  Then she put a little signature of her own on the page.

The Party

Like I said, My camera ironically wasn't working at the party.  But I did get a couple photos from my phone...

The Birthday Girl

And Let's not forget...
